West FM
West FM is a local FM radio station for Ayrshire. The station broadcasts on 96.7, 97.5, 106.7 FM and on DAB Digital Radio, multiplex 11B. Based in Ayr with its transmitters in Darvel, East Ayrshire (96.7 and DAB), Girvan, South Ayrshire (97.5) and Toward Point, Argyll and Bute (106.7). The station is owned & operated by Bauer Radio and forms part of Bauer's City 1 network of stations.
==Programming==
Local programming is produced and broadcast from West FM's Ayr studios from 6am-2pm and 3-7pm on weekdays, 2-6pm on Saturdays and 12-4pm on Sundays.
West FM also airs networked programming from Clyde 1 in Clydebank, Forth 1 in Edinburgh, Key 103 in Manchester and Metro Radio in Newcastle. ''The Vodafone Big Top 40'' is produced by Global Radio at its Capital studios in London for broadcast on 145 commercial radio stations in the UK.
The station's local presenters are Colin McArdle , Zoe Kelly, (''Colin McArdle in the Morning'') Michael Smith 10-2 and Alan Shaw (''Home Run'').〔(West FM - DJs )〕
